8/xxxx Update on Bubba: He would love to be an only cat because he is jealous and also he would be happy being allowed access to the outdoors. Bubba is a constant companion, always by your side and a tremendous helper. He's a great friend, excellent communicator (LOVES to hog the conversation) and purrs non-stop! He's a big fella and a big softie, but don't make fun of him in his pink stroller! He's a total lap cat and an all around perfect gentleman. He is perfectly content staying on your chest cuddling and he will drool because he's so happy. He also suckles on your neck like a baby. He gets along with others cats but could be the only cat too as long as he has human companionship to keep him company. He is amazing with kids. We guesstimate his age at 4 years. He LOVES wet food and treats and will actually do a few dog tricks for a treat. He's very smart. Sadly Bubba was found wandering the streets in his neighborhood after his owner died and brought to the shelter for safety. He HATES car rides unless he's on your lap being comforted but oddly, he likes to chill in a pet carrier as long as the door isn't shut and he loves to fit his giant body into the smallest box he can find! They are spayed and neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have been tested for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been de-wormed and are micro-chipped. The $100.00 adoption fee also includes a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian and other complimentary items.
