Rags is a stunning 4 year old lilac point Ragdoll who is FIV+. FIV is kitty AIDS, but it isn't as bad as it sounds. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives. Rags does not require any special medication or treatment for his disease. All he needs is an indoor home where he will be kept safe from other diseases and illnesses. He has just come into foster care so we are still learning his personality. For now we know that he is great at being held and carried (but he is a large cat), is gentle and sweet and would likely do well with children. He loves belly rubs and stretches out in his donut bed to show off his belly. He tolerates other cats but does require proper introductions and an adjustment period. They are spayed and neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have tested negative for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been de-wormed and are micro-chipped. The $100.00 adoption fee also includes a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian and other complimentary items.
